GU98 Swoosh win championship game at Skagit Labor Day Kick

GU98 won their second tournament of the summer by winning the Skagit Labor Day Kick Silver group in PKs. The girl’s road to the championship game started of slow with ties in all the preliminary games. The semi-finals the girls came out with a decisive 3-0, which pushed them through to the finals. In the finals, both teams played a competitive match. Each team had opportunities to put the other team away. The game ended in a tie and went to PKs. GU98 Swoosh came away making 3 out of the 4 PKs while their opponent missed all 3 and with some superb saves, this put GU98 Swoosh on top and winners of the championship game.

The team played 5 tournamnets this past summer, semi finals in one, 4 finals with 2 championship wins. Great way to finish!!!
