US Club National Cup X Regional Champions

The Washington Rush G18 Nike team coached by Ben Somoza won the Super Group this past weekend at US Club Regionals. The team played five games over the 4-day tournament winning the finals against Eugene Metro from Oregon 2-0 Tuesday afternoon. Kamiak High Schools Lauren Luke scored both goals while Miranda Head of Lakewood recorded the shutout. The girls qualified and will have a chance to compete for a National Championship later this summer. The G93's have won 5 straight tournaments including Pleasanton Rage College Showcase (CA), FC Portland College Showcase (OR), Las Vegas College Showcase (NV), Utah Avalanche (UT) and now US Club Regionals. Great job girls and good luck girls at Nationals!
