F97 Swoosh finalists Adidas Beaverton Cup

The G97 Swoosh team were finalists this past weekend at the Adidas Beaverton Cup in Oregon. The ladies had some hard fought games during bracket play against Spokane Shadow, Lake Oswego & Columbia River and finished first in their group. That matched them up with the Tualitin Metros in the semi finals where they won in decisive fashion 3-0. In the finals, they played the Columbia River team who they played a day earlier in a hard fought 2-2 draw. The team played their hearts out in a game played in a driving rain, but came up on the short end of a 0-2 score.
