Coach
Amir Hassan joined the Rush staff in 2025. He brings with him a deep base of international experience. Born in Sudan, Amir played for The Hilal Youth Academy and in the Sudanese Premier League with Alitihad Albahrawi. He obtained his bachelor's degree in the English language at Tanta University in Egypt. After college, he spent six years in London, England where he earned his masters in Arabic/English translation from the University of Westminster. While in London, he played with the Willesden Green Sport Center soccer team (Hawkeye) in the Middlesex County League. Amir moved to the United States in 1995, first coaching in California with Lamorina SC, before moving to Washington.
Off the field, Amir works for Alaska Airlines in the Aircraft Maintenance and Engineer Department. Coach Amir holds his USSF National “D” License.
