Coach
Ed Becker has been a Coach and Director in the Western Washington area since 2012. He holds a USSF “C” license and Advanced National Goalkeeper License. His resume includes Associate Boys Head Coach at Lakeside School (2013-2018) where he helped the team to multiple state title games, winning state in 2014. He assisted the Mount Si high school Boys team to a state title game in 2019 and was most recently the Program Director for both Boys and Girls soccer at Eastside Catholic high school. Ed has also served as a director and head coach for multiple clubs and with the EPD program for Washington state.
A Washington native, Ed grew up playing for Emerald City soccer club and Mount Si high school. He was named Emerald city’s golden boot award winner in 2002 and an All state first team goalkeeper his senior year in high school. He played two years of collegiate soccer at Cal State Los Angeles, where he helped the Golden Eagles back to the NCAA tournament for the first time in two decades.
Ed and his family live in Everett with their dogs Cypress and Sailor, and is a huge golfer. When he’s not coaching, or working, he’s most likely on the course.
