Coach

Originally from Kingston, Jamaica, Whyte came to the U.S. to play collegiate soccer at Corban University, where he appeared in nearly 60 matches, scored eight goals—including two game-winners—and contributed to a conference championship team during a historic 20-win season.
He later began his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant at Corban University, helping guide the program to national tournament success and a top-15 national ranking eventually serving as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach.
Whyte brings a player-centered, holistic approach to coaching, focused on developing confident leaders both on and off the field. His style emphasizes creativity, connection, and intentional development.
With experience across collegiate, semi-professional, and youth levels, he holds a USSF National “B” License and Coerver Coaching Diplomas, and continues to grow as a student of the game.
Outside of soccer, he enjoys spending time with his wife Katie and their son Maz, traveling and exploring new cities and cuisines.
